[Archive] 40: Having the Right Conversations with Becky Brooks

Becky Brooks has the gift of exhortation. To be an exhorter is to encourage and motivate to action at the same time. I can think of few people who do both so well. 

Becky and I have known each other since we were ten years old and in Ms. Hamilton’s fifth-grade homeroom class, and I can tell you that most of my poor conduct marks that year were due to ill-timed laughter after reading the notes Becky passed to me or watching the faces Becky made at me from across the room. She is FUNNY. And she is also wise. A killer combination, if you ask me.
